After successfully co producing a professional play at The Platform Theatre as a young associate we finally got the opportunity to create and performed in our own play. As fathers day was approaching we all decided to use it as a theme. Seeing as all four of us had a negative relationship with our fathers it felt right as a concept. We then thought it'll be best to perform it individually as four different yet simular stories. Therefore i decided to try something different then the others and instead of using diologue i told my story through only movement. I incorperated 2 specific props to move with.  A teddy bare to represent the first ever toy my dad gave me and told will protect me. A vodka bottle to represent the alcohol problem my father had. And finally i used a female actor to represent my mother and how he treated her. This was a very emotional and touching play because three out of four (mine included) actually came to watch it. But in all it was a great production we made.
